Brian has extensive experience in adult mental health, having been employed in a number of public health services in the UK and Ireland. He supports individuals grappling with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, grief, traumatic experiences, shame and self-criticism, interpersonal difficulties and the challenges of adjusting to significant life changes or transitions. Brian is trained in a range of therapeutic models including Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Brian’s approach to therapy is tailored to each individual, their needs, their strengths, and the aspects of life they seek to change. His aim is to help each of his clients to manage their lives in positive ways and to enable them to better manage the inevitable ups and downs of life. In addition, Brian offers Clinical Supervision to Psychologists and other professionals working in mental health.
