Catherine Cormican

My name is Catherine Cormican, and my passion lies in supporting individuals to navigate their own personal journeys. I provide a safe, confidential and supportive space for exploration, healing and growth. My mission is to offer compassionate and research-informed therapy services to individuals seeking to deepen their self-awareness, enhance their mental well-being, and achieve personal growth.

I am a fully qualified and accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). My core training focused on many modalities including psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, relational, psychosynthesis, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), transpersonal, gestalt and more.

My approach is informed by my primary orientation of psychodynamic, and I practice within an assimilative integrative framework, incorporating other modalities that complement this approach. While psychodynamic and humanistic perspectives guide my work, my integrative training allows me to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each client.

I have experience working with multiple issues, including but not limited to, anxiety, stress, depression, self-harm, trauma, relationship and attachment difficulties, self-esteem, abuse, coercive control, bereavement, grief/loss, and work-related issues.
