Louise Connolly
Louise is pre-accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She is passionate in supporting individuals to navigate their own personal journeys.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the Person-Centred Therapy, where she provides a safe, empathic and confidential space. Her approach is guided by Psychoanalytic, Humanistic and Person-Centred therapies, creating a compassionate and non-judgemental space that encourages self-awareness, personal growth, and the gentle exploration of the unconscious. She draws on attachment theory, recognising how our early relationships can shape the way we experience ourselves and others. By exploring these early relational patterns together we can begin to understand the roots of current issues and create opportunities for healing and change.
She has experience supporting clients with a range of issues, including Anxiety, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, abuse, self-harm, self-esteem, depression, and trauma.
She believes that every individual carries an innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. Her practice, Finding Your Way Psychotherapy, reflects the belief that each person has a unique inner compass and when we begin to tune into our deeper intuition rather than living according to others’ expectations, we can discover what genuinely supports our wellbeing.
