Bhevana is a trained systemic family psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, families, and significant others. She holds an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy from University College Dublin (UCD), a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, and an H.Dip (Hons) in Management from American College Dublin (ACD).
She uses a collaborative, dialogic approach that emphasises relationships and conversation. She therefore focuses on meaning-making through communication and works with differences across contexts and cultures. She has a particular interest in grief, loss, bereavement and trauma.
Her experience includes extensive work with the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), the Healthy Living Centre at Dublin City University (DCU), the Wicklow Child and Family Project (Tusla), Living Life Counselling, the Bodywhys Eating Disorder Association of Ireland, and the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC), as well as experience as a secondary school counsellor and teacher.
