Dr Ashleigh Best is a Level 2 BABCP psychotherapist with over twenty years’ experience across mental health, education, and social care. Her practice is trauma‑aware, relational, and evidence‑informed, supporting clients to cultivate inner empowerment, make sense of their own experiences, and live a life that is meaningful to them.
Alongside her psychotherapy work, Ashleigh leads integrated therapeutic frameworks in children’s services and provides reflective clinical support to multidisciplinary teams, grounding her therapy in what genuinely helps beyond the therapy room.
In session, Ashleigh offers a calm, collaborative space, and tailors her approach to the person in front of her, pacing work carefully and prioritising individual values and choice. She works with adults and adolescents aged 16 and over, on concerns such as low mood, anxiety, self‑esteem, and trauma.
Ashleigh believes change happens through meaningful connection, and she is continually inspired by the courage and creativity of the people she works with.
