Lisa Wixted

I’m an ADHD Coach working with adults who want practical, strengths-based support to better manage attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity and overwhelm, and to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life and bring both lived experience and professional coach training (including specialist ADHD coach training) to my work. My background in corporate roles and my experience as a mum of young children shape a coaching style that is practical, compassionate, and rooted in real-life demands.

My coaching focuses on understanding how your ADHD shows up in your life and working together to develop strategies, routines, and systems that work for your brain. Sessions are structured, goal-focused, and strengths-based, with space to experiment, reflect, and adjust as you go. I work with adults whether they have a formal ADHD diagnosis or are exploring ADHD traits and their impact.

ADHD can show up in many ways, including difficulties with attention, procrastination, organisation, consistency, emotional regulation, or restlessness. Coaching supports clients to recognise these patterns and work with them more effectively, while also harnessing neurodivergent strengths such as creativity, energy, curiosity and original thinking.

I have a particular interest in working with women and mothers with ADHD, especially those diagnosed later in life and navigating work, parenting and periods of transition.

ADHD coaching is non-therapeutic and focuses on practical, forward-looking change; it does not involve diagnosis or the treatment of mental health conditions.

Sessions are available in person and online.
